INDUCTED 1992 - DONALD SLAVICH 
 
 
Don Slavich was inducted into the California Trapshooting Hall Of Fame at the age of 51. He has been shooting since 1959 and has won numerous trophies at the state, regional and national levels.

Don captured the 1967 and 1982 state singles championships with 198 and 200, respectively, and in 1983 he earned the doubles title. In 1977 and 1983 he won preliminary doubles contests, each time breaking 100 of the two-at-a-time targets.

Don won singles championships at the 1966 and 1977 Golden West Grands, and that latter year he was ATA Western Zone doubles titlist. He also earned prizes at major competitions in Las Vegas.

At the 1966 Grand American, Don was the All-Around champion and he was runner-up in the Grand American Handicap.

Don was named to six ATA All-American trapshooting teams, and three times he received TRAP & FIELD All-Around Average Awards for having one of the top five shooting averages in the country.

Donald Slavich was inducted in to the California Trapshooting Hall of Fame in 1992.
